Notice of Transition for METIK Services
As a result of those efforts and the focus on our core products and services, CrossLink will no longer directly provide or support the following products that you may have previously utilized via uTax and METIK Marketing:
We’ll outline below how you can still get access to those products through 3rd party companies or, in some cases, alternative products that CrossLink currently includes at no additional cost as part of your tax software license.
Mobile and WebTax Apps
Option 1:
Are you familiar with TaxPass? This FREE service integrated within the software allows taxpayers to submit their information via a browser page that can be imported into the software. You can brand it with your own logo and the import is generally more robust than the uTax Mobile and WebTax Apps. You can learn more HERE or ask your Account Manager.
Option 2:
We have aligned with Amped Innovation Group who will continue to sell and support the uTax/METIK Mobile App and WebTaxApp if you wish to continue using those into next season. The software integration will continue to be supported.
Expected Pricing:
Mobile App Full: $1,499/year
Mobile App Lite: $999/year
WebTaxApp: $250/year

Website and Landing Page Hosting & Maintenance
CrossLink will no longer be able to host your website or landing page after December 31, 2025. We have made arrangements with two different experienced 3rd party providers in website hosting and maintenance services. If you choose to work with either of these, we will work with them to furnish the needed code to support the transition. You also have the option of working with your own web services firm for whom we can export your website or landing page files so they can set up your site within their processes.
Option 1:
Expected Pricing:
Full website annual hosting and maintenance (including email hosting): $300
Landing Page annual hosting and maintenance: $250
Option 2:

Site Annual Maintenance and Hosting Service:
- Landing Page Microsite: $399/year
- Tax Office / Service Bureau Subsite: $899/year
- Service Bureau: $1,999/year
Each hosting package includes 2 hours of content updates annually. Additional updates are available at $75 per hour to keep your site fresh and up-to-date.
Email Hosting (Through Google Workspace): $100/per hour
- Email setup, migration and ongoing support
- Gmail with domain
- Access to all Google Workspace apps and features for seamless collaboration.

Option 3:
Let your Account Manager know and they will put in the request for your website files to be exported and sent to you. The files will be provided in their current state, and it will be the responsibility of your chosen service provider to complete any additional setup or integration required.
Tax Estimator
The uTax Estimator will be retired at the end of Tax Year 2024. A majority of our customers are taking advantage of the Refund Calculator feature that is included for FREE in the CrossLink software. It offers similar capabilities for quick tax estimates for clients and prospective clients and offers the extra bonus of integration so that client estimates can quickly and easily be converted into tax returns in the software. You can access it in this current year’s program from the Refund Calculator button in the ribbon on the Work in Progress screen.
